We're the Small Business of the Year!
Syncroness, Inc., an engineering design firm specializing in rapid product development for aerospace, medical, and consumer markets, today was named the 2016 Small Business of the Year by the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce. This award recognizes small businesses that have a history of outstanding business practices in the Denver community and to honor the entrepreneurship, sustainability, productivity and effort put forth in a small business.
“We are honored and thankful for this award, which is largely due to our employees and their efforts. We would not be the company we are without their hard work, creativity, and talent,” said Mike Walraven, Syncroness CEO. “A successful business also needs the support of the communities around them and we are thankful for the opportunities and growth, here in Denver.”
Syncroness, Inc. was one of three finalists for the award, which recognizes small businesses for their outstanding management philosophy, business innovation, employee satisfaction, customer service, and community involvement. Syncroness values creating and maintaining lasting relationships with their customers, building the business on a firm foundation of strong interpersonal ties. Most recently, Syncroness’ customer service excellence was recognized by the United Launch Alliance (ULA) with a 2015 Small Business Recognition Award for their excellent support and dedication. Syncroness has also recently been listed for the second year in The Denver Post’s Top Workplaces for 2016, a ranking based solely on the results of employee feedback for organizational health and workplace improvement.
To select finalists, the Denver Metro Chamber of Commerce required businesses to participate in a written application process. A team of business leaders conducted on-site visits and interviews with each finalist, which included Colorado Barricade Company and Humphries Poli Architects, P.C.
The 2016 Business Awards luncheon was held on Friday, April 29th, at the Infinity Park Event Center where the winners were announced and more than 500 business leaders attended the event.
